Most residential driveways fall within a predictable range, while commercial lots are priced per square foot. The only way to get an accurate number is with an in-person estimate, which we provide free of charge.

For most projects we do not require an upfront deposit. Payment terms are discussed and agreed upon when the estimate is accepted.

How long does sealcoating take?

A typical residential driveway takes a few hours to complete, though we recommend staying off the sealed surface for 24 hours to allow the sealer to fully cure. Commercial parking lots depend on size, but we often schedule commercial work over weekends or after business hours to minimize disruption.

How often should I sealcoat my driveway or parking lot?

For most asphalt surfaces, we recommend sealcoating every 2 to 3 years. This is the most cost-effective way to protect against UV damage, water penetration, and freeze-thaw cycles. Commercial lots with heavy traffic may benefit from a tighter schedule.

Sealcoating requires dry weather and temperatures above approximately 50 degrees Fahrenheit for proper curing. In the Treasure Valley, the season generally runs from late spring through early fall. We schedule based on weather and availability.

What is the difference between sealcoating and paving?

Paving is the installation of new asphalt pavement. Sealcoating is a protective coating applied over existing asphalt to extend its life. Supreme Seal Coat specializes in sealcoating, crack filling, pothole repair, and line striping. We do not offer paving services.

Yes. Crack filling and pothole repair are often performed immediately before sealcoating as part of the same project. Addressing damage first ensures the sealcoating goes on a properly prepared surface.
